A hearty welcome to my restaurant. I am delighted to cook for you typical northindian meals, all vegetarian or vegan.
My name is Davinder Singh, so my initials are in the restaurant´s name DS Arjuna. I am from Northindia, the Punjab. The state Punjab is well known for agriculture. A wonderful variety of vegtables are collected from the fields every day and freshly sold at the markets or from door to door. The housewifes can buy their fresh vegetables directly in front or their home. Most of the Punjabi people are vegetarians, just like me.
I was Chef at the restaurant „Arjuna“ on Yppenplatz next to Brunnenmarkt in Ottakring for five years. My dream to open up my own restaurant came true on the 3rd of November 2016. My luck was to find a place in Ottakring. The location at the bottom of Wilhelminenberg and only 5 stops away from the Brunnenmarkt by tram No. 2 makes me really happy. I am able to purchase fresh vegetables at the Brunnenmarkt every day.
